We're no strangers to the glowing effects of turmeric (which is why we can't get enough of this face sponge or this skin-altering balm). Turmeric is antioxidant rich and is also anti-inflammatory so effective in calming skin conditions like redness, rosacea and acne.
We're always a fan of a ginger + turmeric tea or a golden milk, so we were immediately drawn to this wellness concoction, its bold, bright packaging and its delicious flavor. We asked GOLDE's co-founder, Trinity Mouzon, how we could incorporate the blend into our daily routine and she gave us her favorite simple recipe.
She likes to add a bit of raw honey for the extra immune boost and for a touch of sweetness. Trinity also suggests adding a booster ingredients to this recipe, like coconut butter, matcha powder, or adaptogens like ashwagandha or reishi.
To start, gather your ingredients:
Start by adding GOLDE blend to your cup alongside any other dry ingredients like matcha or adaptogen powders. (Be sure to start with the dry ingredients to avoid clumping).
Pour hot water over the GOLDE blend.
Stir in 1 teaspoon of raw honey (optional).
Sip and enjoy!
